Coastal Landscapes

Terræaltrove, italian experience

This incredible landscape tells the story of the fusion between land and sea. With a coastline that runs for over 7000 km, Italy is protected by six neighboring seas.
Each stretch of coastline is unique in its own right, the result of centuries of winds and tides that have, over the years, proved to provide us with extremely rich soils. The protection of these lands allows us, even today, to enjoy the beauty of small ports and traditional fishermen’s homes with low, flat rooves.
The cultural exchange between faraway lands and our native territories is still evident today; the Spanish and Arab influence shines bright in architecture, dishes and dialects. These Mediterranean lands also abound with bastions and fortress towers that recount the days of battles long passed, of history and the flow of cultures.
