Territory and Olive Oil Mill: L’The beautiful hilly region surrounding Florence near Chianti has always been home to the production of truly excellent food products. “COLLINE DI FIRENZE” is a sub-category of TUSCAN I.G.P. olive oil produced according to strict traditional production methods. This olive oil mill has been harvesting olives and producing this superior-quality olive oil for four generations now on a plot of land that reaches between 330-380 meters above sea-level. The olives are all hand-picked at peak ripeness.

Flavour Profile: Type: Medium-intense olive oil featuring well-balanced flavour with sharp spicy undertones and hints of artichoke thistle, Italian radicchio and nutmeg.
Aromas: This olive oil boasts intense notes of artichoke thistle and radish, with undertones of radicchio and cucumber. It also features distinct aromas of rosemary and nuts.
Flavours: On the palate the hints of radicchio take center-stage, despite the bitterness of the artichoke thistle also being predominant. It also features hints of mint, chives, and almond and opens with intense spiciness characterised by notes of black pepper and nutmeg

Production Process: Continuous-cycle cold-pressed olive oil

Suggested Food Pairings: Pairs well with pasta dishes featuring vegetable-based sauces, vegetable or cheese risotto, grilled meats or vegetables. Pairs excellently with rich complex meat or fish-based dishes.

Label inspiration: The label designed was inspired by the stylized lily that has come to symbolize the city of Florence, with the petals being represent by leaves of the olive tree. The linear design of the twigs reinforces the concept of elegant Florentine-style art.
