Contemporary history researcher (he worked for 10 years with Bologna University), he is one of the founders of a small social cooperative of Jesi (Costess) that operates in the socio-cultural area; a company (Subway Lab) that produces multimedia products for culture and tourism; and of an association (Fuori dalle Vie Maestre) that promotes tours by foot and by bike “to historical sites”.

In fact, in the last 25 years he has written (papers, radio texts, screenplays, songs, guides and… more), he has traveled (especially cycling, mainly in the mountains), he has edited and produced events and shows of various kinds: from “In biciclietta sulla Linea Gotica” (“Cycling on the Gothic Line”) (with his friend Andrea Moschini) to the cycle of conferences-shows “Storie di fronti e frontiere” (“Stories of fronts and frontiers”) (dedicated to the memory of the wars of the twentieth century), projects for young people, such as web radio “radio Tanaliberatutti”.

In recent times he has dealt particularly with the recovery of memories (and places) linked to the transhumance of Italy’s central regions.

He is member of the executive committee of the Marche regional institute and scientific director of the Parco storico della Linea Gotica (Historical Park of the Gothic Line) in Badia Tedalda.
