Truly Tuscan. Journalist for passion. Twenty-four years ago I had two options in front of me: either the teaching career (degree in Classic Literature with a thesis in Latin Grammar), or that of those who said to me “Do you really want to be a journalist? For heaven’s sake, find a rich man and marry him”. I chose my path, stubbornly and against the wind.

From 1988 onwards, years of hard work, of complete job insecurity, but valuable because they taught me. First on the football field of a small provincial team for the Corriere dell’Umbria, then eleven years in the journalistic writing for tg di Teletruria (broadcaster of Arezzo). In those years came the possibility to work for the daily Il Corriere di Arezzo, in 1996 the state examination in Rome to become a professional journalist (Association of Journalists of Tuscany, card number 53507, for me still an achievement, an accomplishment earned by working extremely hard), and shortly after the collaboration with ANSA, for four years as a correspondent in Arezzo.
After the television experience, I opened a small news agency providing news for radio, newspapers and local TV stations.
In 1999 I reported for Il Giornale della Toscana (Regional edition of Il Giornale) and the following year working on the editorial staff of the newspaper of Florence where I stayed for ten years (from black to white), climbing slowly up the steps of a professional career to become political editor. Intense years during which I had the opportunity to also write for the national newspaper of Via Negri.
Finally in 2009, the ‘big leap’ to Rome with the enthusiasm to get back again into play, starting from me. Four years with the editorial staff of L’Occidentale (deputyheadeditor), always face to face with the ‘policy-mon-amour’, the desk and management of the web. Currently, working in the preparation of Intelligonews online newspaper.
